Onetahuti Beach
Onetahuti beach is shaped like a horse shoe and is one of the longest beaches in the Abel Tasman National Park. From the beach you can see Tonga Island (which is the more common name of the beach).Tonga Island is the home of NZ fur Seals Kekeno. If you have travelled north on the Aqua Taxi you would have spent some time seeing the colourful characters that inhibit the island all year round. Tonga means south in Maori and is also the name of the Marine Reserve.
